Feathers and Friends Rescue and Refuge, Inc. is a non profit (501c3) corporation. that provides year round care for abandoned, homeless and injured domestic ducks, pigeons, and cockatiels. Since there is a domestic duck abandonment problem, Feathers and Friends is committed to educating the public concerning the difficulties of owning a domestic duck.   The refuge also has 2 horses among those that call it home.  The refuge has a large pond that is aerated to keep it from freezing. Feathers and Friends has a no kill policy and does everything in its power to ensure that any animal that needs medical attention  receives the best care possible.  Our refuge is unable to take any wild birds or animals.  Please contact your local animal shelter or wildlife authority if you have found an injured animal or wild bird.
