Delinquent at age 17 1/2 years old

Delinquent
As the patriarch of the entire refuge and the oldest, (17 1/2
years old ), this duck earns his name by being the terror of
the yard as a young duck. Raised by a chicken, Delinquent's
mother always had a handful trying to raise a baby of her own
and the little rascal Delinquent. The poor mother didn't
know what to do when Delinquent turned out to be a duck. However,
she raised him well because he fathered nine babies, three of
which are still alive at the refuge.
But sad as it is to report, Delinquent has recently passed
away. Ducks ordinarily conceal when they ensue an illness.
Delinquent's sickness was not detected until it was
too late, unfortunately. Feathers and Friends Refuge prefers
to bury their losses because all our ducks are very precious
to us and we always have proper burials for them.
Delinquent was a mournful loss to Feathers and Friends because
of the many happy long years he spent with us and the wonderful
memorable times. Because of his old age Delinquent suffered
from a walking disorder. When he did walk it was very slow.
He was forced at times to use his wings to drag himself from
one place to another. Delinquent enjoyed his stay with Feathers
and Friends. He particularly enjoyed bathing. Your donations
